Grace Schust: A Creative Force on the Canvas

Visual artist, sculptor, wildlife photographer, woodworker, musician and drummer, Grace brings her rich imagination and vivid attention to detail to her work in and out of the studio.  She comes from a long lineage of artists and musicians, harking back to her great grandparents who were professional jewelry designers for Tiffany.  A student of Babatunde Olatunji, master drummer from Nigeria, Grace brings rhythm to her pieces.Schust_Grace_1

Grace received her Bachelors in Fine Arts from Colby Sawyer College, and has continued to work independently as a visual artist, musician and woodworker.  In 2011 Grace showed her work at the Arlington Open Studios, and has continued to show at A.O.S. every year, where you can find her larger than life canvases in the gymnasium exhibit.  She has also shown her work recently in two juried exhibits at the Arlington Center for the Arts.  Grace currently lives in rural New England where she works in a variety of mediums including painting (acrylics), pastels, watercolors, and wildlife photography.IMG_3176A001342-R1-46-47
